Roadway Lighting
Mine roadway lighting is to provide illumination for the transportation or walkways. The most widely used at home and abroad is ordinary roadway proof lighting straight fluorescent tubes for the light source, power consumption, lamp life is short and maintenance difficulties and other shortcomings, such as power and distance, voltage loss is particularly evident. LED light source is not only low power consumption, energy saving, and long life , can effectively reduce roadway lighting repairs. Now China has begun to promote the application of mine roadway proof LED light fixture , although the initial stage there are still some problems, but with the progress of LED light source technology , its application in roadway lighting will be more and more widely .
Application in mines
Most old-fashioned mine lightings are incandescent lamps. It has power consumption, short lifespan and can easily cause gas accident when replacing them under mine. LED light source technology used in the mines has obvious advantages, it has the same brightness as old mine lamps and consumes less than 1/ 3 power of the traditional lamp. Moreover, it is unbreakable, and does not leak gas or electricity and has long lifespan. Thus, LED lamp is now widely used and gradually replaces the old mine lamp. In addition, due to the LED light source is shock resistant and impact resistance, explosion-proof LED light fixtures are also applied in flame-proof type of locomotive machine and have achieved good results, which are gradually replacing non-explosion proof LED light locomotive lamps. With the continuous advancement of LED light source technology, its application in mine lighting will be more extensive.
