According to the Housing and Construction Bureau of Yantai City, Shandong Province, the Shengli Road Tunnel, Huangjinding Tunnel, Kuixinglou Tunnel, Wuzushan Tunnel, Tongshi Road Tunnel, Tashan Tunnel, Nanshan Tunnel, Huangshan Tunnel, Dongkou Tunnel, and Jindoushan Tunnel in Yantai City 10 tunnels have now carried out unified lighting renovation. After the completion of the renovation at the end of April, tunnels with themes such as "ocean starry sky", "moonlight" and "gold" will be presented one by one, which will not only further improve driving safety, but will also become a brand-new "check-in place" for passing through mountains and mountains.
On the afternoon of March 26, in the tunnel at the east exit of Huangshan Road, which was undergoing night lighting construction, two crank boom machines at the east entrance started together, and four workers were installing groups of cable trays on the tunnel wall one by one. The light strip that has been installed has been lit. Wang Gang, the person in charge of the site of Longteng Lighting Group Co., Ltd., said that at present, the interior of the tunnel has been repainted with lake blue paint, and a lake blue decorative wall washer has been installed on the top of the tunnel. After all the lighting facilities inside the tunnel are installed in place, the functions, Landscape lighting fixtures will be combined into one, the decorative luminous area will increase, and the interior will present a unified and soft lake blue.
It is understood that, except for the tunnels along Tashan South Road, the East-West artery opened to traffic at the end of 2020, many tunnels in Yantai City have been "in service" for more than 5 years. Although the functional lighting is basically perfect, it lacks decorative lighting, and the overall lighting is poor, weak, and unable to reflect the momentum and regional characteristics of the tunnel passing through mountains and ridges. The tunnel lighting renovation focuses on presenting richer elements of Yantai. According to the natural features and regional characteristics of different tunnels, the blue symbolizing the ocean and the warm color symbolizing the mountain are selected to further highlight the "mountain and sea" characteristics of the port city.
In terms of specific design, the theme of the Shengli Road Tunnel is "Ocean Starry Sky". The whole is based on the blue side lighting that reflects the characteristics of Yantai's coastal city. Three sections of starry sky lighting are interspersed in the middle to highlight the city theme and avoid driver visual fatigue.
The theme of the Golden Roof Tunnel is "Gold". Lighting is used to create a visual sense of the Golden Tunnel. By adding landscape lighting, the top is illuminated with wall washers to highlight the overall atmosphere.
The theme of Kuixinglou Tunnel and Tashan Tunnel is "Starlight". Using modern lighting technology, using a point light source combined with the effect of a lake blue wall washer, changing the traditional functional lighting method, and finally forming the lighting effect of a natural starry sky.
